Choose an offshore charter if the open Gulf and offshore species are the central goal. Choose a dedicated swamp or ecological tour if wildlife viewing or structured environmental interpretation matters more than fishing. A first-time visitor with very limited time may reasonably decide to remain in New Orleans.
